Meet The Band

The people behind the new musical powerhouse in the Irish Folk landscape

Eoin Maneely

Eoin founded the band and his passion and dedication to its vision is as committed now as it ever was. He has a deep love of Irish music and has been a driving force which has helped shape Wolfhound into the band it is today.

Eoin is the man of versatility - he brings wonderful vocals as well as great talent on a range of instruments to the stage, including the banjo, mandolin & fiddle.

A Chartered Surveyor by profession with Maneely & Co, Eoin loves to play football and golf in his spare time, though his hands are full at the moment with the arrival of his new son Cillian, and a second on the way - the next generation of Wolfhound!

Niamh McGrane

Niamh started playing Irish traditional music at 6 years old and is now an incredibly accomplished fiddle and whistle player. She has tutored many children and adults over the years, sharing her love for Irish music.

Whilst studying at university, Niamh had a hugely successful experience playing in a previous band and with it had the opportunity to live and gig in Spain.

By day Niamh is a Special Educational Needs teacher and in her spare time she loves nothing more than playing football for her beloved Ballyhagan GAA.

Pierce Whitehouse

Having previously had an extremely successful solo career, the allure of being part of the band and something bigger than himself was too much to resist when the opportunity to join Wolfhound arose.

Pierce brings his powerful and unique vocals as well as quality guitar playing. His musical inspiration is Shane McGowan and more recently has had quite the obsession with The Mary Wallopers.

Outside of music, Pierce is a panel beater by profession and loves nothing more than a fresh pint of Guinness, a good tv series or finding something to modify on his van!

Ross Lavery

Ross has played music all his life and brings with him the versatility of playing acoustic, electric & bass guitar.

Ross is certainly no stranger to the music scene, he has owned his own music recording and producing business since his graduation from Queen’s University with a first class honours in Music Technology and Sonic Arts in 2018.

A manager with PwC by profession, Ross had a very successful semi-professional football career until suffering an unfortunate injury. Since then, he puts all his focus into his passion for music and recording.

Tristan Ferran

Tristan comes from a background of pop-punk drumming and this has created a unique energy in Wolfhound and a new style in the Irish folk scene.

Tristan studies a wide variety of music genres and is heavily influenced by his favourite band, Blink 182. His biggest inspirations are Travis Barker, Stewart Copeland and Tommy Lee

Tristan is a Assistant Accountant by trade and in his spare time enjoys quality family time, especially with his daughter Delilah - trying to teach her any instrument she gets her hands on!
